Wedding planning is in full swing for Miss Lori Wilson, #becomingmrscharles! She dreamed up the prettiest little package to ask her bridesmaids to stand with her on the big day. Beautifully watercolored floral cards (by the bride, of course!) with champagne, cake balls, sweet sentiments ... and a little calligraphy by me!
She gathered her girls on Friday for a fabulous lunch at Neiman's to kick off dress shopping and began the inviting with the gorgeous gift boxes. She coordinated the tags stealthily ... so that she could surprise me too! Really sweet. See my totally happy, but really unflattering surprise face below?
Then the flower girls! She made these darling wreaths so that the girls could practice wearing floral crowns before the big day. As you may be able to tell from their reactions, one flower girl was a bit more enthusiastic than the other ... we are hoping Molly's fervor rubs off on Grace!
The biggest surprise was the "Man of Honor", my wonderful husband! Lori has always looked forward to having him in her wedding - and the time is finally here! We'll get to walk down the aisle together, so we are both extra excited.
The main event of the whole weekend was the engagement party, which all the other fun was scheduled around. The groom's sisters did an amazing job hosting the party... the food, drinks and decor made for quite a fun fete. Matron of Honor Lindsay and Ring Bearer Lincoln were even able to make it! (Remember his ring bearing debut? hint hint, tux pic below)
All in all, Lori had quite a productive weekend ... one matron of honor, one maid of honor, a man of honor, six bridesmaids, two flower girls, a ring bearer and a partridge in a pear tree! And here we are, folks, the most complete bridal party picture we have to date! I'm sure we'll get a better one throughout the festivities. I'll be sure to look at the camera next time...
